Sheekh Mohamed Ibn Abdiwahab was an Islamic reformer who have stood up for Islam and demanded a proof for the deeds that people were attributing to our faith. He demanded an Aayat and clear Xadith sanctioning their deeds. Most of the people in his time till today who believe a mix of Islam, pre-islamic, and heretic practices have always had issues with his challenge that you have to have a clear proof when you are perforfming these deeds.

It also looks like those who are totally against the implementation of Sharia law are constantly bad mouthing sunni islam and the Sheikh Mohamed Ibn Abdiwahab in order to discourage people from performing their religious duties. If any one has any issues with some of the teachings of Sheikh Mohamed Ibn Wahab, there are certaintly theologians who can answer whatever questions you may have. Filling the SNET pages and constantly insulting the Shiekh Mohamed Ibn Abdiwahab won't do a jack for you as Islam is spreading across the world and Salafi Islam has dug deep roots across the Muslim world.
