The easiest way to make money is through the suffering of those who have less than you or those in a weaker state, colonialism and slavery are perfect example of this; this is how the west was built they had free workers, free produce, free money etc.

You know there are those who argue that the west wasn't entirely built on slavery alone.

There is some truth in this!

That's B.S America was built on the blood of African slaves, imagine having free workers for 400 years.
They bred the African slaves like animals, to make the strongest offspring why do you think African Americans can compete in almost every sport  , go do some research there are somethings that are not up for debate dude.

If it's true then it's terrible and if it's not it is shocking that an adult black African can joke about such a thing. Marka why would you say it as if wax lagu faano ey tahay? Shameless, then you will say that Islam and Al Shabab are the key in another thread, yahuu :?
Forgot this is somalinet generals after all
Snoop do you have a problem with me?
If so you should deal with it because it is coming out all wrong dude. If you accept that Islam stood against slavery then there is no need for a Muslim person to be proud of such a thing. One should be embarrassed on behalf of ones ancestors, if pride is what it induces in you then clearly you do not understand your own point.

As for Africans we know our own history, so what are you talking about? This is not about Europeans or Arabs and their own history cuqdada iska qaad. If you don't know why a Black African should not see owning slaves as something to be proud of then there is really not much for me to say to you is there :?
SMH you probably think yourself on a different league since "Somalis were never slaves"
b!tch i aint got nothing against you, just explaining to you that putting an emphasis on Black Africans is wrong, because Black Africans were not slaves exclusively.

my ancestors owned and freed slaves, its normal and accordance to islamic law.

nope i aint got a vendetta against you.

These photos are not somali slaves. Not even bantu somali slaves. Look at their body and facial features. Dont kid yourself to think they are daroods, bantu or remotely somali. Look at their physical features, the muscles, a clear sign they are adoons of zanzibar or tanzania. Ever wonder why white people never went to somalia to enslave somalis? Well, u guessed it right. Somalis are physically useless. They are what the British will call----"Black gentile skinnies" meaning--their limbs and body is so delicate, that show or hint a noble gene that is not related to adoons and is of anglo descendants. Basically a black british. Not to mention the laziest nation and the most brutally stubborn. Have u all not been reading those archaic articles voltage used to post here in somalinet? A true somali will kill u before he will accept slavery.lol

Dr. Isaaq , walaal edeeb yaloow. They look like the bantus in zanzibar. How did u come up with darood? Thats a long leap. You surpassed, the east african bajuun, the sawahili, the oromos, the afars and went straight to the noble faqaash? How bizarre. Waar orod--shaqoo yaloow---nacalaa adiiga iyoo sinjigaadi kuyaala. 8-)

Instead of banging on about it being normal when you just said that it went against Islam, hence being phased out, why don't you just pray for forgivenes for your ancestors and pray that they get rewarded for freeing those people? Ilaheey kuligood haka cafiyo. While you're at it wash out your mouth as well. Unless this is another person using the snoop account I must say I am shocked and disappointed.

1. i REPEAT slaves does not = black african(or their History), slaves just like poverty does not have race.

2. Islam is against slavery, but in a realistic and progressive manner, that allows the slave to be reintegrated back into society(this process is normal and encouraged in Islam, read what i wrote again, i clearly did not say its normal to just have slaves but to treat them well and free them as part of the process).
...ergo.you cant drop a slave like you can drop a bottle of vodka, its a human being, there needs to be a process and support.
in my second point, did i make a contradiction ?
my ancestors back several houndred years were living in a time were slaves were a reality but ofcourse as Muslims they took care of their slaves and freed them fiisabililah. i am not ashamed of their act because they were going through a process that has allowed me to see a Somalia without slavery being prevalent, they shaped the reality of today, and i would go against them and Islam to be proud of what they fought and reduced with each generation.

learn these 3 points
1. not all africans were slaves, 2. slaves were not only africans, 3. islam is against slavery but in a manner that actually made change possible.

its true, they actually breeded some slaves particularly for sport and entertainment. the same way people breed horses for race and dogs for beuty contest.

they also had a one blood rule, that means if you had 1 blood of a black person in your system you qualify as a slave. this made it completely impossible for slaves to become free or ever have a chance of reintegrating into society.

and they also killed those who had any significant signs of intelegence to prevent a rebellion, this allowed one slave owner to manage houndreds at a time.

they were pretty crafty slave owners, completely unethical though lol.
