The question of Sharif and his wisdom has always been obvious. But Omar Abdirashid is not singing any new tune. It will be a miracle of the highest order if he survives this.Jesteye wrote:TL,
Sharmake is actively lobbying for puntland drafted constitution and backed by int cummunity. And is using all the tricks in the book to question sh. sharif intellectual and physical ability to lead the nation.
If you want to see evidance read the Report of the Secretary-General on Somalia - UN (see:http://www.wardheernews.com/Organizatio ... en_Rep.pdf)
In addition, read Mr Ulusow aka Mr Cayr Political leader article in wardheernews.
Mr Ulusow suggests that Sharmake got the upper hand and that he team-up with Sharif Sakin. And list, the int community isolation policy towards Sh. Sharif (see:http://www.wardheernews.com/Articles_20 ... risis.html).

Amusing, indeedVoltage wrote:The TFG mandate will be absolved in 8 months time, by August the new government will be in place with a Marehan as president (know him) with HG as prime minister. There is 150 page manifesto (completed already but undergoing revision) which will be the base of the constitution and the international community will seriously get involved in Somalia at that time in conjunction with the momentum provided by that new government. That is not saying much. If you paid attention, you would know where the leader of that gang ended up.paidmonk wrote:You must be looking at a different picture, we've been part of every transitional regime since 2004. I doubt they could expand North into Bosaaso let alone its surronding areas. They're are no groups aligned with Hawiye-RRA movements nor feel sympathy but complete frustration for Somalia the evolution of their perverted religious idioms which could never be hidden.
One thing about W.Bari and West, they are not fans of Hawiyes and their elders/leaders/clergy want no business with a tornado and would fight to the death defending their land/religion from RRA-Hawiye.
The process of decomposition is speeding up in Somalia. Hawiyes and their mini-RRAs are doing a great job.

Wallahi, I don't mind a Marehan President, but the idea that UN and the International Community somehow look for a magic combination of subclan X and Subclan Y is quite hilarious to me.Voltage wrote:So be it.

The president is helped by being from Marehan but this is not entirely why he is favored by the international community. More his links to Western governments as well as his qualifications. HG is the group that I think he will derive his pm from.

A mobilized and energized Marehan wield the biggest axe which could destablize Shabaab's control over the southern regions particular from Kismaayo to Ethiopia corridor. This is where Shabaab derives most of its foundational support particularly Kismaayo city where Shabaab's capital and strategy is stored. In the new scheme of the international community to tackle Shabaab, hurting the foundation so the head withers is a major part of the strategy. No way will this be achieved without mobilizing and energizing the group which could most cripple Shabaab there and nothing achieves this more than retaining the highest leadership.Goljano Lion wrote:Murax![]()

This is the thinking circling around both in Washington and Brussels.

What happened? I was hoping for another crazy prediction coming from the bi-polar kid.
Walaahi of all the crazy predictions and statements made here over the years by this clown the one that most made me laugh has to be when he one time said Mareexan will soon invade Kenya. And one could tell he was damn serious and was not kidding around with the way he kept swearing.
That has to be the most outrageous one of many crazy predictions. I feel sorry for the ones who take him serious.
