What is wrong with having a conversation with grandpakhaliif, I was 15 when I started here too, its no different, this is good tribal training for him, he will learn about his clan's enemies so he can live a productive life.

Actually im 18 but don't mind them they are the bitter minority of Sade.

Now back on topic why are only M. Saleban being given Puntland presidency?

No one else is really involved. Reer Bicidyahan are big but they live mostly in Ethiopia so they can't really participate that much in Puntland politics; Cali Salebaan are undermined by Cusman Maxamud; all other MJ clans really don't care about politics; the non-MJs don't really care for being president either. Its like, why are only Malays allowed to be president of Malaysia despite being only 60% or less, its because no one else cares to get involved in politics or they don't have vision for the country - only Maxamud Saleban have participated in the old boqortoyo and have vision for the state of affairs of Puntland.

Now, to you, what is the future of the Marehan politicians in Jubbaland-Dooloow and the Marehan Galguduud position on the conflict of Al-Shabaab and Shariif.

Marehan Galgaduud are fiercely anti shabab, but can careless about the puppet government. ASWJ Militia are on stand still for any immediate threat. Cabudwaaq is actually doing pretty well commercially business is flourishing better than expected. Cabudwaaq and Kismayo were inherently connected due to familial and business connections but now reer Cabudwaaq successfully adapted since Al Shabab take over. Our boy Goonjeex is in the PM race and if he wins can allocate funds to Somali Central State based in Cabudwaaq.

The situation in Doolow looks rather bleak, lets be realistic it will be very difficult to fight a formidable multi clan force such as Al Shabab. Unless logistics, assistance and funding is greatly improved "Jubbaland" will have to wait.

As guhaad mentioned, the jalaqsi massacre was not avenged even though we had the opportunity and the means to do so.When a mass influx of xawaadle refugees rushed into OGADENIA,they were met with open arms and warm hospitality.Never was it our custome to take our anger out on the weak and the defenseless,if that was the case mar horaa geeska africa lagu kala guuri lahaa.
For better or for worse thats just who we are, theres no changing us,and i for one am damn proud of my BIG foot having, gaal hating, peotry reciting, god fearing, self respecting family.

SomaliGunner,
Saaxiib I don't get your point here; first of all, the word is Ban balaayo meaning the the Tragedy in the Desert. You said ciyaal agoon ah baa ku jiray SPM in the 1990s, how is that possible? SPM existed before Ban Balaayo so how is it possible that there were orphans in SPM whose parents were killed in Ban Balaayo? Can you explain that for us?

Waa suurta gal in wiilal xiligaas aad u yaraa ay waa weynaadeen, kabacdina kusoo noqdeen Somalia kuna biireeen SPM.
