Nothing to share really. Every culture suffers from these problems and they are not unique to Somalis. Our only redeeming trait is that we never accept it as normal and keep getting shocked every time such an incident takes place.

On your (side) topic, I say pay warya. The contributions you make (when asked) mostly go to worthy causes, don't let the occassional bad cause put you off.

I can't get over the fact some people find this bizarre, when infact these same people see all kinds of scandal in the community from farah being openly gay and halimo chasing Tyrone.. lol. Raggii waa Raggii hore as they say in Somali. Those guys had honour and prestige. Its an insult for us to compare them to today's Somalis.

Without pointing fingers this sort of thing is another southern practice exported. I mean these jaahils live in a village and are practicing the worst traits, you never hear this sort of thing from a big city like London were the northerners dwell.
