If there are resources, they are miniscule. What I'm saying is beridhow dunidu wey ka baxeysaa resources like oil, coal etc and renewable energy ba la isticmaaleyaa. Mareykankaa xitaa baryeya. I believe IT, Computing/software and telecommunications is the way for Somaliland. We already have one of the fastest and cheapest internet and phone services in africa. A small population is nothing to brag about, we have the highest birth rates in the world, let's make use of it and educate the next generation to have a large skilled workforce so that foreigners can invest.

Bro the thing is, the world recognises Mogadishu as the capital. As long as the government and people of Somaliland continue to face the other way pouting like a sulking child, hardly any real development will take place in our country Somaliland. Either join Somalia and move the capital (not likely) or forcefully get your independence by threatening the somali government or bribing them to hold a referendum (plomo o plata). What we can't do however is beg other countries who aren't interested or are afraid of an independent Somaliland e.g. Britain, America , Ethiopia etc. We should develop strong economic ties with the rising african economies like Nigeria, Angola, Mozambique and Ghana (who were always friendly to the S/L cause). If we work hard for our independence (not by begging for it, but by taking it) invest in our economy and infrastructure, then Somaliland will be a success story and a leading power not only in the Horn and but inshallah africa as a whole.
