I will always be an outsider to my reer abti but my reer aabe are my real family even though I know more of the reer Abti.

I'm a special case because My Mom and Dad are Second Cousins so most of My relatives are equally Abti/Adeer which is kinda cool. Sometimes they don't know what to call me, Awoowe, Adeer, Eedo, Habaryar, Abti, etc.

I can't pick, i love them both equally.

Well both my mother and father are cousins (3rd)...so I have the same adeero/abtiyo just like Murax

Laakiin if I really have to pick....I would do it depending on what matters to me most...example, if Diin is very important to me, I would say Adeero (dad's siblings, 1st N 2nd cousins)...but if being westernized N having fun is mort important to me, I would say Abtiyo (mom's sibling, 1st N 2nd cousins)....keep in mind that they share 3rd cousins. Abtiyaashay are fun to be with, talk to, and chill with. Adeerayaashay are interesting to talk to, but our conversations can be long N dry....our conversations are more intellectually based, concerning religion...science...school...and politics...wallahi hada whenever one of my adeers call, we even talk about books


But I do love them equally although sometimes my adeero are more strict which I do not find attractive, nevertheless!!!!

It all depends on who you grew up with. For me its my reer abti’s cos I grew up with them. My reer adeero im like who? Don’t know them so cant judge them.

You should love both of them equally but I am a lot closer to my dad's side of the family; when I went back home I stayed with my adeer's family and my only living grandparent is my paternal grandmother so I feel closer in that sense.

wat about ur mothers cousins and close relatives they count as reer abti aswell.
