I don't want kids for at least the first 5 years of my marriage. That time is just for me and my wife
    The purpose of marriage in Islam is to procreate..why would you get married and delay having kids for 5 years?    That just doesn't make sense.

I noticed its usually women who have subconciously accepted all the ignorant shit they've been told growing up and who live in constant fear of losing their husbands who are fervent opponents of birth control. To these women, its inconceivable to be a wife and actually have a say in when she gets pregnant. Not realizing what having a child, year in & year out does to her physical & psychological well-being, in addition to intimacy and sex life with her spouse. The human body was not created to undergo such strenous and often times exhausting under-taking. A minimum of two years (even according to the religion) is needed before conceiving again. Ignorance. :?

Because I want to get to know my wife first. I want to move further in my life first, I want to reach high places in my career and my wife should be working well too and in a good field of work.

Then we will be financially and mentally ready to look after out kids. So she leaves her job and cares for the children and we can pay for private education, tutors and other things for them.

For sure I don't want children for a number of years

I think as long as you're not breast feeding, you can conceive again.

You're supposed to get to know her beforehand. :| I think anything longer than a year, without a really good reason, is just ridiculous.

We neither live in the environment for it, nor does it mean just because it was done that its the way to go.

Yes I will know here beforehand 1-2 years. Then about 5 years as a married couple together, thats how you get to know someone.

If it was up to my parents I would marry one of the somali girls they have lined up for me, which are no way compatible for me and they would probably want 10 kids

I don't masturbate, or jerk, or wank. I think that is for the weak minded I have learnt to control my ages a long time ago. I look at the beauty of women like some people view a fine wine, fine food, fine car.

I don't look at half naked women, so that has helped me greatly
