If certain groups are not happy being part of Somalia they have grounds to object then they have the god given right, they canot at the sametime be wishing to take other regions that don't want to take part in their secessionist dream unless they are only respecting the AU acford that determines the unallainable right of a sovereign state apply their colonial border and complying with the AU accord of that determines all African state borders. Sool, South/Eastern Sanaag, Cayn, and Awdal regions have not shown their willingness to be part of the secessionist dream According to the puntland strategy to dismantle a neighbouring states while claiming being advocates of somali unity. While at the same time funding piracy and are known for hosting sheik Atom since the birth of UIC where he imported arms via puntland with the knowledge and full acceptance of the puntland adminsteration unitl Sheik Atom refused to pay the puntland admins their share of the arms imprort profit and they began a propaganda campiegn to eliminate him.
One also should know the Harti clans in the North have spoken up in 1998 when they formally signed up to the formation of Puntland. This is the representation of the will of the population in that part of the country. There is no such thing as a harti state or a puntland country, there never was ever grounds for the creation of such a state as it has no historical borders and as such will not be acknowledged by the the AU nor reenforced by the AU Accord governing state formation. Since they know they will never be able to from their own state it is ther mission to ensure they hold everyone else hostage to their reign of priacy and terror Since th Selection of Farmajo as PM they have withdrawn their support of the TFG and even claimed they were in talks with Shabab. In 1960 2 states joined to form Somali republic as part of the creation of somaliweyn to include Djbouti, Kilil and NFD this did not materialise as such the dream died and every state has the right to assume responsibility over it;s original state borders and retain it's sovereignty. The 2 states that joined have existed seperate for 20years as somaliland and somalia. Creation of puntland while critising somaliland is simply hypocricy puntland has no intention of ever being part of Somalia, however it requires the name of somalia to dismantle somaliland as it wishes to claim parts of another state, once that is achieved puntland will being it's search of statehood. This plans is faling apart as they do not have the patiance to wait any longer and wish to accelerate the dismantlement of somaliland. Puntland works for self interest while still claiming to be part of Somalia
The wishful dreams of one group to break up a unified country while at the sametime wanting to take other regions that have not signed-up to the secessionist project have no legal basis and it is just wishful dream.
Which clans signed the 1960 union of the somali republic did the Gabooye, HA, HY, HJ, Warsangeli, dhulbahante, samaroon, akhisho... who signed according to your delusion? where is the evidence of this contractaul union? what were the terms? was is a pro bono union where everyone behaves as they please? or where they terms that each side had to deliver? since 1960 how many somaliland presidents has moqadishu had? non Zero why?
So was this union beneficial to all involved or was it a union that benefited only one of the states that entered into the union? I really want to see puntland commit political suicide with their invasion of a neigbouring state

go for it, i assure you are only accelerating the process of recognition.
In if you wish to come back with another bulshid response about division and state borders dont waste your time.
- AU accord governs state borders not me and not anyone on this website go write to them instead.
It looks like running with falsehoods has become the new motto for the secessionst supporters.
Both parties, SNL and USP, that won the election in the North in 1960 were all in full agreement that they should join their brothers in the South. At that tinme, Abullahi Isse, the chairman of the SYL requested that they be given more time before both groups can delibarate about the proposed union. It was the SNL party members who were hurrying up the joint union

The union act that was signed in July 1, 1960 was the formation of the Somali Republic that became part of the African Union. The North and Southern Somalia were not countries and never became members of the African union. It was after the union was signed and the Somali parliament and the people of Somalia ratified the union that Somalia became part of the African union. You will never find any legal document that shows Southern and Northern Somalias that were countries before the union of July 1, 1960.
Anyone with reasonable mind knows the current supporters of the secessionist Somaliland have no claim of being a separate country before the formation of the Somali Republic in 1960. It is a myth that is spread around that has no legal basis whatsoever
