Even those who say they are about clannism fall into it; by referring to shariif as a donkey they are not insulting him the hidden message is to stereotype against his subclan (abgaal)

I noticed the same thing too, even with Dr. Yalaxoow being referred to as such.

The guy is not a Shaykh first of all, donkey hasn´t got to do with him being Abgaal but the guy is an axmaq. Even Amin Caamir drew him and a donkey together when he was mocking him.

It doesn´t make sense, but then again somali politics doesnt make sense.

What makes his post useless? He remains a influential guy .You could also that speaker of Parliaments is a useless post, yet Sharif Hassan is a influential.

Abdikarim Jama is the most powerful minister in the cabinet. Even more powerful than the Foreign Minister and his opinion by virtue of being the president's chief political advisor carries much weight. By targeting Abdikarim Jama, Faroole was picking a fight heads-on against the main playmaker of the TFG.

In Somali politics, a person's post is a very poor indicator of their political capital. Sh Ali Jimale had a very vague post of being minister of shaqaalaha in the 60s and came with ONE Vote of defeating President Aden Cade.

I am not disrespecting Dr. Jama when i called him weakling, but judging by how he sounds he seemed weak( i've listened to his interview which was very poor) same goes for Farmaajo and Ina Sharmake

Are you talking strictly about how they speak? Then, that's a matter of personal perception. Having said, most Somali politicians are soft spoken, from the days of President Aden Cade, PMs Abdirashid Sharmarke, PM Igal to the current crop. Being soft spoken is related to being decent, culturally speaking.

Leadership is a vague term and depends more on perception than by actual performance. My college Political Psychology professor used to say: all politics is perception.
