To me 1 Al-shabaab member has more balls than West africans combined.

Long live the unholy Somali pride and their bubble of superiority over all sundry.

Yeah he was a great leader also Usman ben Fodio who Monk mentioned are two Muslims that have left a legacy which no East African can match in terms of Muslim influence and impact on history in thier respective regionsMurax wrote:
Seemeyer, Wallahi Cadeem I learned about Mansa Musa and His famous pilgrimage when I was in elementery or middle school in America in a history book kawaran. With all due respect to our Somali heros I never read or heard about Ahmed Gurey or our other Somali Heros in any World History class from Grade School to College. If it wasn't for the fact that I'm Somali I probably would never have heard of them.
Something is definitely wrong with you. I hope you get cured someday.Kukri wrote:West African are inferior to east Africans.
you fuckin moron first understand what the thread starter means by East Africans. he means Negros vs Kushitic.Monk-of-Mogadishu wrote:East Africa stretches from Madagascar to Sudan you f-king idiot. Most slaves from East Africa were primarily Bantu from Southeast Africa and Nilotics from South Sudan. I have read genetics studies on slave descendants from the Middle East/South Asia (places like Oman, other Afro-Arabians, South Iran, the Makrani coast of Pakistan, Siddi of India etc) and their African ancestry is not Cushitic there but always Bantu.Voltage wrote:Every illiterate wants to talk about history now.
When it comes to sense of enslavement, East Africa is still inferior to West. Sure the West might have the worst experience with new-age enslavement with the advancement of Western technology and the ensuing Atlantic slave trade, but African slavery has inherently been an eastern phenamenon from the times of antiquity to as recent as the Omani-Zanzibar control over the coast.
Who hasn't been enslaved in East Africa? From the coast of Sudan down to Mozambique, East African slave legacy sits from here to China. The same Abbysinians were are descended from, the so-called "Cushities" were the biggest source of slaves for the East. Look at even Islamic history and you read famous slaves such as Bilal were Abbysinian.
In fact, modern Somalis themselves only escaped being slaved in modern slavery because we were Muslims, otherwise we would have suffered the fate of our East African neighbors to the north as well as immediate south.
Take the slavery card elsewhere illiterate.
