OliveOil, it is the other way around. We claim a subclan of Wegerdhac whose name I heard is Cali Cabdi. Btw, awoowe Wagardhac is buried LA areas, so that says alot about roots 8

Seriously, check with Xasdan Dheere (the reer Dalal fella who is the leader of the Somali community in Columbus, Ohio) and get back to me and tell us if we are small   It will soon be renamed from mini-Gedo to Mini-Sool where Udun may replace Xasan Dheere jk even tough the guy helped me when I needed immigration testimony :!:

So, Udun tell me how big are the Abdi Garaads (Qayaads).

Ps: Marexaans (reer diini ) aa ubadan in C town, Dhuloz baa ku xiiga. Haye, happy now beesha dhuloz
Ma gabar baad ahayd, oops my apology. Waa kaa war hayn

Back to the topic, Wagardhac is a large subclan. Look at the territory they settle: From Gaalkacayo to Gelinsoor to Dhabad to Caabudwaaq to Dhudub iyo Galaadi. That is a huge territory. History has proven them to be historic warriors; ask me back in my shaqada qaran days, I have happened to witness some of the heroic skills. No need to ask me further details. For some reason, the last Somali central government did not put Wagardhac in higher positions; not sure why but the highest position that I heard was a vice-minister.

Rooble, we are very huge actually Alhamdulilah...personally I don't like it when people say that "so and so wee yar yahiin ama wee badan yahiin!!" Its very irritating cause no one really knows the exact numbers...also, anaga we r quit and do not disturb others. We r in our own little world....hence the fact that we do not participate in politics...part of us want to be left the fuck ALONE!!  Seriously :?

Waxaanu nahay 16 lafo...laakiin aniga waxaa aqaana:
1. Reer Gadiid (I'm),
2. Reer Wardheere,
3. Reer Rooble,
4. Reer Allamagan,
5. Cumar Dheer,
6. Reer Afweyne,
7. Reer Faahiye,
8. Reer Warsame ( aka Sirig)
9. Reer Diini (aka Agoon and/or Rubeeco)
10. Reer Ciise
11.
12.
13.
14.
15.
16.

^^My aunt knows the rest...I will get back to u if I find the info :D

Waxaanu dagnaa the famous Cabudwaaq (of course), Dhabat, Galinsoor, Galkacyo, Golgodob, and a tulo I forgot what it was called :|....those r in Mudug/Central Somalia. Also, we migrated to the South...we live in Kismayo in great numbers and Gedo (insignificant in Gedo, but we have our little area called "Dhabat Yar"). We also live in Ethiopia in great numbers...we live Dhudub, Wardheer, iyo Gelaadi!!!

So We r pretty much the most wide spread Mareexaan sub clan honestly speaking :)

N on in the Western nations...we predominately live in Melbourne Australia (predominately Wagardhacs), MN (more Wagardhacs compared to the other MRs), Columbus (more Reer Diinis here), and of course, throughout the European countries...UK majority :D
Masha Allah, very informative post
