the punishment for rape in islam is same as the punishment for zina, which is stoning if is married, and one hundred lashes and/or jail for one year if he is not married.

also majority fiqh scholars such imaam malik says, that he is also required to pay a mahr to the woman ( al muwatta). imaam abu haneefa says not obligated the dowry, just the hadd.

in all honesty,it's all down to the judge, some rape cases worse than other , such rape under weapon, then will come under surat almaida ayyah 33, which comes under, mischief in the land and they may killed. Allah a3lam.
