It seems, to me, that is a logical way of thinking. Not that I'm saying its wrong or right...but where he is coming from makes sense. Also, you shouldn't hate your people or judge them based on several individuals on the net sxb!

Well...

When all is said and done mankind's impact on the universal scheme even over a trillion years will amount to insignificance negligible at best.

... Perspective paradigm shift. The examiner forming the opinion on the somali condition has undertaken the task with a set of inaccurate tools.

Somali people have never had a leader like that who could radically change the complacency, the lack of hunger, and stagnant poltics.
Mao and kemal had dedicated and independant minded fighters, while the only ones that match the description in somalia are alshabaab.
Sadly they also possess the intellectual ability of retarded apes..

so you see the problem.

and we do not need a mao or a kemal, we need someone better,

Have faith in where you hailed from, time will tell if the country will get any better than its current state of play.

Voltage wrote:Do you know how Tumaal came to be an insult in Somali culture?

Majority of Somalis = illiterate, uneducated, unskilled, desert nomadic parasites of the camel

Tumal = a skilled blacksmith, a maker of equipment, a mechanic...someone valued in all civilized societies on earth

However, the unlettered nomad was the majority and the skilled man was a precious minority so he came to be the individual looked down on, the person ridiculed for having tangible skills that could contribute to society.

It is the same case here. Those with enlightened thinking are a precious minority even among the Somalis of today which explains the unmitigated strong bouts of defense and even aggression shown for calling a spade a spade with respect to the conditions surrounding our primitive people.

The only reason they have is emotional yearning. They have a sense of entitlement to pride, even when they do not deserve it, simply by virtue of being a Somali. If they were going by a metric of tangible judgement, they would have zero pride, more humility, and more determination to correct the lack of pride by embarking on endeavors that achieve it.
No, I didn't know that, thank you! Very sad!

Voltage wrote:least intelligent people on the planet. The country is a mess. We have no great literary advancements throughout the time. We haven't invented anything. We didn't have a written language until 30 years ago. Our people are parasites of the desert who move beyond desert shrub from desert shrub. Our architectural pride is something that would not even qualify in a Brazilian favela. Not a single "city" in the country has sewers or running water. Great advancements in development advancement is digging up water wells in urban centers.

Even more than the physical manifestations of the people is the inner, spiritual manifestations. By far, Somalis from what I have observed here in the West as well as back in Africa comparison to every group they live among or with are the least civilized, the most backward, the most intellectually stunted, the most primitive in thinking, and the least cognitively developed people I have ever seen.

Waxa xun uun baa lagu tusay.
bitching about it with the AC on blast living comfortably in the west is not gonna change anything.

Its perfectly ok for you to say what I say is right. You wouldn't be the first and alhamdulilah, I think I can confidently say you wouldn't be the last. So please read all I wrote and give me your best judgement, sweetheart.

THIS IS EXACTLY WHY THERE IS NO FUTURE FOR SOMALI'S IN THE WEST.

Freedom and independence is so IMPORTANT!!!!!!!

Before we discuss SUCCESS and FAILURE you must define them first.

The self hating somali's here measure success in materialistic things first while ALLAH describes these things as a distraction that always lead to self destruction in this world and the hereafter.

There is a lot to learn from history which is pretty useful in understanding the present and putting things into prospective, whenever the ancient egyptians conquered a nation they used to take the youth of the conquered people and educate them in egyptian towns and then send them back to there people fully brainwashed. This practice would guarantee the conquered nation would never create an opposition in the future.

A simple reer MIYI in the Somali desert, who supports his own family is far more successful than the likes of the Self Hating ignoramus who's whole family live of USA food stamps. And he has the audacity to insult the free and proud Somali nomad who believes in ALLAH's ayah that tells him that you are Superior than any najus Kafir that you admire.

Alhamdulilah my mother who is over 50 years of age and is able to read and write in English far better than I told me that her father who came to the west way back in the late 40's as a free black tradesman. That the first Somali to come to the West, came back in the 19th century and was the first free black and independent tradesman who used to trade in Eastern Spices along with Yemeni tradesman.
They never used to bring there wives and children with them unless for short periods, to protect them from having an inferior complex like Voltage.
