If Riyaale can be forgiven so can everyone else that worked under Barre. Lets cut the bullshit here.

The question is....What did Siyaad Barre's government did, that needs to be forgiven about? :? If any REBEL movement attacks a city and captures it, any Government would counter-attack the city to reclaim it by all means necessary.
does that counter-attack also consists of reducing the city to rubble, taking doors and hinges out of every house, digging out the gold and money the civilians dug in before they left, shooting civilians on their way to ethiopia?,

This Coues is new to Somali politics.

Riyaale wouldn't have been in power for 8 long years if the Isaaq didn't want him to be there.

That's what the SNM Militia did, not the Government.

THe SNM MIlitia went into Hergeisa and Burco. They demolished the walls of every home they can, so they can easily maneuver from one end of the street to the other end without being outside. They made it very hard for the Government forces to fight inside the City, and Ariel Bombardment of the Homes where the SNM Militia were was the only solution left.

The Government did all it can to prevent Civilian Causalities. The SNM used the Civilians as Human Shields in Hergeisa and Burco. Your own heroes fucked you, dude.

The mere fact that you're using profanity to reject what I said, says a lot about who's lying. You can't hide from the truth, for the truth shall find you where ever you may go in this Life and in the Hereafter. The Isaaq civilians were so gullible. They believed that the SNM were fighting for their cause, but it was FEW Politicians fighting for their right to be rich and dominate over others. They used Hergeisa and Burco civilians as Human Shields and the Somali Government had no choice, but to defend itself and it's citizens.

TheBlueNWhite, don't mind this girl name Username1. She's one of the Amsterdam Prostitutes. They think, by laughing at the children and women dying due to Starvation in Southern Somalia, they'll be recognized by the West because they have no empathy or sympathy for fellow Muslims and Somalis.

Spare me the bullshid, everyone knew that the snm did not use anyone as human shields, the snm were fighting within the city to push the faqash out only then barre decided to bomb the whole place since personally (he hates isaaqs) and "for the good of the country" and so he shelled and a brutal genocide was put upon the nobal Isaaq clan,

The white guy says "After 2-3 days of bombing, the civilians couldn't take it, so they buried their possesions and left the cities, in a BIBLICAL manner, but when the Govt found out that they stored their possesions, they put land mines in those spots, so when the civilians returned, they were killed in those land mines."
"When i came to hargeisa in janurary 1991, the scene was of something like hiroshima, the city was systematically looted, everything right down to the hinges of the doors, and windows, were looted."

there nicca f your bullshid i don't take words from a guy who labels himself a girl who writes in pink while dancing with pinki nigis.

^ No amount of Youtube Videos or "White Man Commentaries" would give you the right to pullout the Victim Card. Every Somali knows that the SNM were supported by Mengistu Haile Mariam and Foreign Powers. The mere fact of having Mengistu, an Arch Enemy of Somalia support a Rebel Movement tells you that, SNM were not fighting for the Interest of the Somali People.

SNM were fighting for the Interest of Mengistu Haile Mariam and his Allies, such as the Soviet Union and other Foreign Powers.

they may have been supported by them, but in 1998 barre signed a deal
"Following the rebel successes of 1987-88, Somali-Ethiopian relations began to improve. On March 19, 1988, Siad Barre and Ethiopian president Mengistu Haile Mariam met in Djibouti to discuss ways of reducing tension between the two countries. Although little was accomplished, the two agreed to hold further talks. At the end of March 1988, the Ethiopian minister of foreign affairs, Berhanu Bayih, arrived in Mogadishu for discussions with a group of Somali officials, headed by General Ahmad Mahamuud Faarah.
On April 4, 1988, the two presidents signed a joint communique in which they agreed to restore diplomatic relations, exchange prisoners of war, start a mutual withdrawal of troops from the border area, and end subversive activities and hostile propaganda against each other. Faced with a cutoff of Ethiopian military assistance, the SNM had to prove its ability to operate as an independent organization." and it did, it operated within waqooyi galbeed and soon took parts of it later defeating the faqash.
SNM were fighting for the interest of it's people.
For instance take alook at this video, you see the soldiers of Somaliland marching away from Somalia (mig-17 plane in the back), which means we ain't part of you no more son, and you can't do shit about it.

Saxib facts are facts. It was a massacre against Isaaq civilians. You can deny it because you as Pro Somalia Dhulbahante is on bad terms with Isaaq today, but the truth has no qabiil and takes no sides. So do not make any dambi by condoning what has happened. If you do not agree, then atleast do not make light of the incident

No, it wasn't a Masscare against Isaaq civilians, it was a Massacre against SNM-Mengistu Puppets.

Hypothetically speaking, if you were the President of Somalia today and you had a Rebel Movement supported by Meles Zenawi, takes over Hergeisa and they are slaughtering anyone that isn't from Beesha Isaaq within Hergeisa, what would you do?

I'm speaking the Truth and ALLAH is my Witness.

You brag about SNM, a fellow Allies of Mengistu, while I am proud of the SNA (Somali National Army), the very men and women that made Mengistu beg for Mercy.

Look at the difference between you and I. Are we equal? Far from it.
