I believe if a family have children(babies). The mother should raise them till at least they are 5 yrs. Ofcourse if only they can afford.

Western world is different from were our parents raised their kids. There were always help at home. Relatives and maids in the house.

But here men need to understand that you can't eat your cake and have it.
Moms can't be the bread winners and at the same time the sole care takers of all the household activities. Common sense.

Some men demand from their wife to do both. That is very very difficult. But then again there are few women who abuse their gentlemen. I saw a women even though she does not work at all, even though she stays at home all day long, who asks her husband to clean the house when he comes from his work very late. This is abuse...

What is Beards talking about? SubxanAllah.

My first priority, inshaAllah is looking after my home--after all, if my husband is the breadwinner, and it is enough to manage everything I don't see the need to work for 'financial' gain as such. However, as soon as my kids were old enough to go in to preschool (I think pre school is important for kids, since they'll get used to being in a 'school' environment) inshaAllah I'd want to go and work, to exercise my mind and take a break from 'home-life'. Or if that wasn't possible, I'd set out to work once they were all in elementary school. That may take a awhile, especially if they are born years apart, but you children are far more important than your career- I couldn't abandon them as infants to pursue a career.

However, the purpose of getting a higher education isn't soley so that you can get a job- many see it that way, but to others it is just important that they were formally educated, and inshaAllah they can pass on their knowledge to their children, even if they don't manage to have a career.

However, we plan and plan but Allah is the best of Planners..

All muslim women in the western world should be taken back to where they originally came from, and if they were born there, to where their parents came from. They beleive and talk so much shidh. In the meantime they should listen to somalisis.

As for the men, the likes of the screw should be flashed down da toilet.
Absulute waste of sperm.

Makes a LOT of sense Exclamation Maasha'Allah, malagu qabaa walaal??
Q

Me and my Halimo competing for the bathroom in the morning?!! a-aa- No way......
.....

That's why they have his and hers vanity sinks, showers, toilets...etc actually believe it or not there's his and hers home packages the couple pretty much live on two adjoining properties!! So Lug there's an idea for you, all the space you could possibly need Wink

Back to the topic I agree with dhaga It really depends on the family circumstances, both of my parents always woked, my mother actually travelled alot, Dad used to take us to school. Personally speaking, I can't see myself staying home, if for whatever reason I have to become a stay home mom, I would probably establish an online business or something, something to occupy myself with, can't stay idle for long I will go nuts Evil or Very Mad
