People will always deviate. When Musaylama claimed to be a prophet did the sahaba start identifying as something else to "differentiate" themself from Musaylama's group. So you identify as Salafi to differentiate from people who you say are astray. But now Salafis consider eachother deviant. On one end you have the Madkhalis, on the other end you have the Salafi Jihadees. Its all become a circus. Everytime a group deviates you have a new name. Just call yourself muslim and follow Quran and Sunnah. Follwowing As Salaf as Saaliheen and calling yourself "salafi" have been proven to be two different things.

At the end of it, your are not living during the time of salaf salahiin, no person alive has lived at that time, the only connection you have is through secondary, third, fourth, or fifth degree sources that claim to know what it was like then. In reality you all follow who you think, and what you think doesn't make anything true, since often times most people don't base decisions on facts but on first impressions and other factors.

Perfect Order

As muslims we are obliged to accept the teaching of islam and act upon them, when we hear something thats based on daleel from Quraan and Sunnah we have to accept it!! And alhumdulillah we have authentic hadiths from the time of Salaf. If some people want to follow their desier and stick with bid'ah and run away from the truth then thats their choice. You can laugh how much you like but it will just put you further away from the truth and Allah knows best.
