We have names for them, Christmas, Easter, Summer holidays.

What if it is a non-denominational holiday, like those who refuse christmas, kwanza, the jewish one etc but still want to be part of it all.

You would say its a Muslim festival, holiday is any break for us, we get bank holidays nothing todo with religion. For us any time off work/school is holiday.
