Women should start wearing huge snuggies or snow suits. That should satasfy everyone.

Re: Women wearing pants - its halaal
Beenale..thats the mentality which is required to prosper. Clothes do two things...the cover us, and they make us look good. As Muslims we should know its ugly to walk around half naked so that normal people are put off and weirdos come in droves. Its common sense. But Allah swt says that the best garment is that of righteousness.
"O children of Adam, We have bestowed upon you clothing to conceal your private parts and as adornment. But the clothing of righteousness - that is best. That is from the signs of Allah that perhaps they will remember." (7:27).
Mrsinister, I am not frustrated. I have no clothing restrictions in my life, I'm a very happy and free soul. I'm just 'yaeurkh' of these topics.
Colonel. Did I say Taliban rape boys (I would not be surprised of they did), or that they allow it to happen (even imagine they were bribed to look away)? Are you telling me the Burkha police cants sort that problem out? Or does their strength begin and end with women and their outer garments.
PO is right, naaso are not cawra in front of muxrams/females because most women will have to breastfeed at some point, and boobs will be whipped out.

Both you and PO are wrong... The Quran and Sunna are pretty clear on how women should dress around mahram men (their husbands, fathers, brothers, sons, etc.) and non-mahram men (strangers).gedo_gurl wrote:PO is right, naaso are not cawra in front of muxrams/females because most women will have to breastfeed at some point, and boobs will be whipped out.
For mahram men:
Around the husband women can dress how they wants, because there is no restriction on what a husband can see or touch.
Around children, other women, and of close male relatives, women are to cover their "private parts" which is the region from her upper chest to her knees.
And for non-mahram men:
Around them women must cover everything but their face and hands. This includes a headscarf that covers her hair, ears, neck, and upper chest; clothes that cover her from neck, wrist to ankle; and socks and shoes to cover her feet. Please let's not misguide Muslims.
Surah an-Nur verse 31 reads:
And say to the faithful women to lower their gazes, and to guard their private parts, and not to display their beauty except what is apparent of it, and to extend their headcoverings (khimars) to cover their bosoms, and not to display their beauty except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husband's fathers, or their sons, or their husband's sons, or their brothers, or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their womenfolk, or what their right hands rule (slaves), or the followers from the men who do not feel sexual desire, or the small children to whom the nakedness of women is not apparent, and not to strike their feet (on the ground) so as to make known what they hide of their adornments. And turn in repentance to God together, O you the faithful, in order that you are successful.

You have brought ZERO evidence for what you have said. Breasts are not considered private parts like the thighs and bottom etc. A woman can breastfeed in front of her sons regardless of how old they are, bring me anything to say otherwise. I did not use the internet for this, we have been taught this since we were small children.

Yes in Islamic classes, I cant even remember but most of the people I know are aware of this. Its absurd to suggest a woman cannot breastfeed her child in front of her 14 year old son or daughter. Islam is not an impractical religion.

When a mother is breast feeding that's and exception still if she is someone with morals she would breast feed her child in private or cover up while doing so.gedo_gurl wrote:You have brought ZERO evidence for what you have said. Like the Quran reads, a woman can put her guards down around a small child to whom the nakedness of women is not apparent, but not in front of her grown up sons. I would be offended if my mother or sisters start feeding a child bear breasted in front of me or any of my grown ass brothers. You should too.

Why should I follow your morality? I come from a good family and I know my brothers have never had a hard on because of my breastfeeding their nephews or my mother breastfeeding my brother. What you are saying is very disgusting.D-Runner wrote:When a mother is breast feeding that's and exception still if she is someone with morals she would breast feed her child in private or cover up while doing so.gedo_gurl wrote:You have brought ZERO evidence for what you have said. Re: Women wearing pants - its halaal
First time a woman tried to breastfeed around me, I was 12. I looked right at her, got up and left. Felt so disrespected it nearly made me sick. I made pretty damn sure I wouldn't allow that to happen again without getting a word in.

It says something about you, you are perverted if your sister or mother cannot even breastfeed around you.

i see where you're coming from, but that's like saying your sister's perverted if you can't even pee in front of her...private parts are private parts, you don't wanna see your family members'gedo_gurl wrote:It says something about you, you are perverted if your sister or mother cannot even breastfeed around you.
