UK urges Somaliland to back Somalia in upcoming Conference

I doubt the triangle has the capacity to bite the hand that feeds it. This conference seems more important for David Cameron's image than anything and I doubt he will let an African factional leader get in the way of it.

On the other hand, it is the expressed position of every organization in the world and countries that Somalia is a united and sovereign state and I myself was even surprised the force with which the territorial integrity of Somalia was voiced in the beginning of the whole UN conferences attention on the famine and it would be interesting such statements repeated in front of Siilaanyo and Somaliland.

How would We get in the way of the conferance?
by not attending?

If we attend we will simply use it as a forum for our own .

This meeting isn't about how "indivisible" Somalia is, its about all the negatives of somalia from the piracy to the "terrorists" al shabaab to the chaos and war. I'm sure from discussing all that negativity, Somaliland can be seen as a beaconing light of good and by expressing ourselves in a good manner, David cameron and all the other political heavyweights of the UK can see what we have done

the conference is about helping and rebuilding somalia. and as such somaliland is invited to sit in and contribute, why not attend, we are helping our neighbour country.

The Hurdle for the Somali Peace Process has always been two fronts: Hargeysa and Southern Renegades former elements of the USC and SNM. Hargeysa is Somalia second capital. These two fronts need to be resolved and dissolved in order for Somalia to have peace.
