It goes up into Earth and takes pictures and receives and sends signals? What does that have to do with sun
U said u didn't believe in satellites so I wasn't quite sure at what u were getting at. Satellites hover around the earths orbit, do u believe that?

Grandpa probably doesn't believe in the earth revolving around the sun because it is the theory of gravitational pull which states that objects revolve around that which has the greatest mass. Now it doesn't matter how much evidence we have to support this theory, he won't believe it because afterall it's just a "theory" and sheik blah blah says it's not true. Does this remind you guys of another certain theory that's rejected by some folks like grandpa ?

some satellites have the same orbit of the earth ie: around the sun.

Wallahi yacni, I dont know this intricate things and I will follow my Sheikh and his daleel in which the Prophet describes explicitly the movement of the sun. Yacni, this is enough for me, I don't need science to prove my islam.

assalamu alaikum.

So you guys both reject all the evidence which proves the theory of evolution--based religious grounds-- but yet you mock grandpa's assertion that the earth revolves around the sun, which he also bases on religious grounds....and all three of you share a common literal approach to interrupting the qu'ran. Why is this?

i take the quran as it is. i dont recall the sun orbiting the earth or the earth being flat.

i've previously shared my view on theories of human origin.

I don't believe and I don't care to learn something which is fabricated, i.e I am not aware of what you're talking about which is nonsense and fiction in the first place.
