I think the days of smash and grab in kismayo are over. 20 years of warfare have left what should be one of the most productive somali regions in turmoil.
The people are ready for a change, the days of warlords ruling the city are gone. A civil administration must be inclusive of all the residents of the region.

Forget about 1974, in 1980s the only Ilka-Yar in Kismaayo was CasCaseey. The funny thing is the CasCaseey building wasn't actually all that and it was famous. Guess the reason?
