Somalida waa dad xawayaan ah walle. Why should a qabiil prevent the unity of two people who'd be happy together? If a daughter of mine brought any somali nigga home, he could be somali-bantu for all I care, waan ku dari laha if she wants him. it's the 21st century, accept the fockin' change. :x

Anyway I never knew parents would disapprove plus I wasn't thinking of marriage at first
sorry i didn't catch that :? then what was the point of seeking approval from your parents if you weren't that seriouse as u've said :?

this is how its has been:
hawiye dude wants to marry darood chick her parents disapprove with absolute anger like white girl marrying black dude from the 60's how her parents would react (same goes for iidoors) .but if it was a darood dude marrying hawiye chick the parents might i say might be a little bit unhappy with her decision but quickly get over it and support both of them. moral of the story we know who's deeply sick and not deeply sick

Smh. I know a madhibaan guy asked some girls mother if he can marry her and she brought out her sandal to throw at him.

I was so cheesed. Somalis are f-king retards.

Thank God my parents aren't backwards. I'm either marrying a Madhibaan beauty or a Caucasian woman

Stand your ground if I were you. Tell them what they are doing is haram. If they still say no then give up.

Listen to ur parents no matter how wrong they are, parents live in their perfect little world but if they saw reality (young somalis in todays society), they would not only welcome the lil hommie but probably pay for the wedding.

Tell me about it, fighter & faaraxoos.

First I am a guy, and both my parents passed away long time ago (RIP) but I feel sorry for the sisters, especially those whose parents believe in too much fairytale.

Ignoring the poor attempt at trolling...

I'm confident now that "getting to know someone" on your own will result in trouble when it comes to marriage.
