B) In todays Somalia affairs at the local level trump national level, since there is no national Gov

It's just incredibly amusing to see the mock horror and crocodile tears from some folks who either cannot read or who deliberately choose to misrepresent what actually happened.

Like I said before, a plane that was supposed to take some old yes-men to Xamar in an attempt to disrupt a conference that was planned for months was shot at by TFG troops loyal to local groups in Gedo.

It's not too difficult to understand. Anything that stands in the way of this historic conference that will finally determine the future of a post-Shabaab Jubbaland is a clear and present danger to our interests, be it the nefarious political schemes of certain people in Xamar or bought "elders" that claim to represent our region. The local TFG administration in Gedo was forced to take the necessary steps to avoid anything that would threaten this meeting.

I believe had those men been allowed to represent the interests of the region, the people on the ground would be screwed over by, as Based put it, "bought men".

There is no government greenday. Let the people on the ground do what is best in their interest, to ensure peace and prosperity for all. Paid men shouldn't decide the fate of those people.
