Not that i really give a fuck about this issue but the point that you and buddy are making here is irrational,primative, immoral and highly undemoctratic. It runs contrary to all notions of common citizenship, rule of law and equality.

this in fact reminds me of a story that allegedly happened in hargeysa. Apparently xaaji cabdi waraabe's son and a HY guy from the hawd got into a land dispute. The matter got soo serious that the elders were called to resolve the matter. Markii gartii loo fadhiistay baa waxaa hadlay xaaji waraabe senior and he asked the HY guy adeero adigu xagee baad ka timi. And HY guy replied Gaashaamo baan ka imi adeer. khalid do you agree that your indigenous inhabitants of hargeysa rant is just as crude and as bigoted as that tribal elder but only not as funny. Besides your notion of indigenous people suggested that there are alien immigrants in the city. Aren't other isaaqs indigenous to hargeysa?

Well there are four major clans living in Hargeysa
Ishaaq of the H.y.
Sacad muse of the Habar awal
and Arab
And Ciidagale of the Garxajis

The rest are immigrants and new to the city

These 4 major clans are the original inhabitants of the region

But today its not our village any more its one of the largest cities in the horn maybe they should change the capital to burco or something buuqa ha ina dhaafe eh

Well I actually believe that everyone should be able to run for whatever in wherever in his country as long as he can get the trust of the locals!
Hargeysa is the Capital and thus should be equal for everybody it doesn't matter who is 'indigenous' to the place or not, and even majority shouldn't matter.
Only thing that should qualify a person should be their qualification and since the process would be democratically election ( I'm guessing ) then let it be up to people who they decide.

I really have hard time getting this somali mentality of qabil and politics, why is it important what qabiil some political official is from?
wallahi I couldn't care less even the president wtf he was, the only important thing is, is that person doing his job right.
