arab, what i dnt understand is why many of us (somalis) act as if we are immune to the perils of societies we live with. Awe, The only open Somali gay I ever interacted with lives in the UK. He told me he was sexually molested when he was a little kid in Somalia. He said after soccer games, an older boy raped him repeatedly. When he came to the UK he continued that lifestyle of meeting men. He said he is very fit and plays soccer all the the time. I asked him if he would like to reverse it and he said he is struggling very hard and takes very expensive drugs. Should some1 like that be hated, ridiculed and treated as an outcast? u be the judge.

warya, Brother there is a cure for everything and even homosexuality, in his case he was hit with a calamity that I don't wish for anybody but he should've persevered and asked for help instead of thinking this way. Most likely it was psychological as you can't be born gay, you start to believe you're gay and it manifests into something real. Living that lifestyle just because you feel a certain way about men now is not even an option, our religion is very concrete when it comes to these things, the only things the sahaba differed on was how the person should be executed.

You are suppose to hate what Allah hates, there is no if and, or buts, if you don't call it out your not doing your job as a Muslim. warya, You're right, hating gays alone wouldn't save you from the hell fire but it's required that we dissociate ourselves from even our gay relatives and shun them. If they want to be helped, that's a different case but if they're openly admitting to committing sodomy in this case by announcing their "marriage" then there is no hope for them.

About the Ayah you posted, Kitab also clearly talks about God's hate for nasaara in you know what nasara means and youhapily accepted to live under the laws written and enforced by them. Those same laws you are required to abide by protect these people. The Kitab is not something you pick and choose the parts that fit into your arguments. God talks about hating nasara more times than he talks about homosexuals.

This is the dillema. And we know that there are men out there who do these to the young boy. Some of them slightly older others much older. It is those once whom I would shot in the head without a secodn thought, but they are unrecognized. Perhaps continuing thier lives as hetrosexual men. Bloody evils.
