We owe it to those who fought for our independence to make Somalia a proud nation
Today is a day that Somalis should take a moment and reflect on all those who fought for our independence
Presidential candidate and president of the People Party of Somalia, Said Issa Mohamud.A future with peace and prosperity for all can only be achieved if we unify and all work together toward a common good. Our propensity to solve our differences with violence must end today and new leadership must use democratic methods to peacefully ensure the safety and success of all Somalis.
