Thuganomics, there is also philosophical differences. American capitalism and the pursuit of the dream is based on the belief that the market should be left alone by goverment interference to work. Republicans, the wealthy and big business owners push for free market economics, the democrats believe the government has a role in providing a safety net for the poor and spends billions on healthcare for a selected demographic. Under "Obamacare, the pharmaceutical and insurance companies have been given latitude in settting certain demands, but they have also made concessions.

The government has no role in providing health services to the general population. That job needs to be left to private businesses.

For me the Fundamental quandary is WHY Justice Roberts chose to vote with the liberals. And more importantly why Liberal leaning Justice Kennedy voted with the republic. That is the one million dollar question. The answer? The justices are saving their jobs. They became too predictable, voting along party, political line instead of constitution. Basically, self preservation tactic won the day, and i salute Justice Roberts for a brilliant move that will guarantee him a historic legacy, right along with our adoon president.

Well, Good question. The answer lays some where between, Gods will, luck, adoon with a white mother and the times of today. Obama won by few percent from Maccain who was a very unlikeable, not too much conservative just like the current one Mitt Romney- yet surprisingly he won. I would say-- America will always be split almost half--therefore giving every party a chance to win and be the executive. Which i must confess that makes our democracy a very enviable, darling model of governance.

My insurance rates are rising next year by a lot, and they're covering less, and the reason that the insurance company is stating is because of the health care bill.

I'm confused :|
They mandated that insurance companies have to pay 80% of people's insurance premiums on medical expenses, and if they end up paying less than 80% they have to give the difference back to their customers.
They probably used to pay a lot less than 80% on medical expenses and excluded people with pre-existing conditions, so now that they have to actually provide healthcare the premiums are going up.

Get rid of government intervention in the markets and in health care and this world would be a better place.

PO

A supreme appt. last until the judge is extremely old and not in control over his or her foculties. Therefore--Chief Justice Roberts, the hero of this recent supreme drama--is currently 57 years old-- he has another 30 years provided he lives that long.
