They are not all Ethnic Bantu but Wiki says Ethnic Somalis are 85% that means The ppl of two rivers are 10% plus. The term Bantu or Somali Bantu is new and the ppl who are from Tanzania are few. The rest are indigenous people who actually live here before Somalis arrived.

Most of the people in the Shabelle area are actually ethnic Somalis, with only small pockets of run-away Bantu slaves. The trans-Indian Ocean slave trade was very big in the past, thousands of Southeast Africans (Tanzanians etc) were shipped to the Middle East, and the Arabs dumped hundreds if not thousands of their captive Southeast African slaves in Somalia. This is why we have a Bantu population. If it weren't for Arabs kidnapping Southeast Africans and dumping them on our soil we wouldn't have them around.

R.I.P to my thread. You have officially turned a thread dedicated to innocent children into a qabil thread. Seems like even young children are a target of tribism. I'm praise Allah for not making Shab or tightrope humanitarian worker I can imagine them neglecting food and water from little kids because they are Bantus or look Bantu.

Idiot.. All the big tribes such as Darod, Isaaq, Raxanweyn, Hawiye are of Cushitic origin and Somali by blood.

Only the Bantu tribe is not, they are closer to Nigerians than to Somalis.
