The majerteens have been dealt a low blow in somalia and somalinet. No oil, no presidency and kicked out of somalinet by a looma oyaan named waryaa.

This might just be the beggining of the end for the ruling class of the somali republic.

Rubbish! Virtually every one of Somalia's government that have been formed has had a MJ for President or Prime Minister. More so, MJ are only a sub-clan, however, no other tribe has more influence. You'll see, there is no other tribe that President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud will try and appease more then the Majerteen.

Don't be mistaken, Puntland is still the safest place in Somalia (who still want to be part of Somalia), and because of the this important fact it will remain a major stake holder in all of Somalia's governments.

You never see Puntlanders fleeing to other parts of Somalia looking for peace.
