We never went to dugsi, except for once to a masjid near our house, kuwa carab ah ayaa dhigayey. I think this was the first time I ever went inside the main prayer space...but we stopped going soon after. After that we had Qur'an teachers come to our house to teach us.
Was Duugsi worth the money?

I remember my first Qur'an teacher, nin quruxloow ah ayuu ahaa guriga ayuu inoogu imanjiray. I was about 11 lol. He even attended mixed wedding receptions....my Mum was watching cajaliyad aroos, and who else walks through the gates but our very own Qur'an teacher.

Aabo decided to follow me one saturday morning, he looked at me like
"so his not going to dugsi after all".......
He goes and talks with the macilin and gets the 411, snitch ass macalin was like haven't seen the little guy over a year, we hear rumors he moved uptown doing big things.
Mean while I come home 1pm like the usual, came in the house like..... sup hooyo sup aabo, guess who finished 3rd juz
Before I could get another sentence, aabo was like
waryaa dayuus yahow...u know u focked up right?
Hooyo was like
u beeing lying to us all this time? u know u focked up right?
I thought I was
But then they both
.......cus they didn't know I had it in me, told me to go to my room and that was that.
