abdi ismail
Where I reside is peaceful only because the people follow the law and the order, and the leaders step down when their term is over, those in power here do not kill their people because they disagree with them.
I visited hargeisa a when I was a teenager, the first thing I noticed was the remains of the houses that were bombarded and how peaceful the people were; what I learned was that it took some anarchy to overthrow the oppressors and the people returned to civility shortly; it's quite sad you use Mogadishu as the poster child for all Somali territories, just because one city is in disarray does not mean the rest of the Somali territories will follow the same path, when you overthrow a dictator there are two paths, staying in anarchy or going back to civility and rebuilding your land.
btw how do you like hyena meat.

Enlightened Sista
with your mentality, you would have been raped, maimed and your immediate family would be dead if you had lived in Somalia in the 80's, is that the peace you want. I wouldn't call that foresight, not much thinking is gonna be done if your dead.
btw your a refugee too, I bet those Iraqis were the ones who lived a happy life under him, but your brain lacks the will to question what people tell you, it's not your fault your just a stupid naive refugee.

Shut up you stupid cunt. I would rather have 80s Somalia than the Somalia now..where millions more have perished and the country reduced to rubble.

Re: What's in this bag from Syria?
Niccas, Somalia is NOT a failed country because of SOmalis
Its failed because the WEST and its allies refused for the Somali civil war to play out. In the end, the strongest group would have FINISHED off the weaker ones if it were not for Western interference:
1. Mid 1992 - Somali National Alliance lead by General Aideed finished off the remanents of the Barre regime and cornered the Ali Mahdi Manifesto group. In 1992, the SNA (USC+SPM+SDM+SSNM) controlled 80% of the south and all principal cities there. In the North, SNM controlled the vast majority of the cities. In comes, Boutrous Boutrous Ghali, the focking UN and USA to upset the balance and interfering
2. Summer 2006 - The Islamic Courts Union lead by Xasan Dahir Aweys control 90% of the South. His movement finishes off the warlords and enjoys popular appeal among many Somalis from all regions of the Former Somali Republic. By Christmas, the Ethiopians and Western Allies move in to destroy the Islamic Courts.
So if Somalia is left alone, events would play out and the strongest group would win and force the weaker ones into submission. The reason why Somalia is a failed state because the war is never left to end with the victors taking the spoils and the defeated surrendering.

Same could be said about Iraq tbh when groups like alqaida and alshabab is involved then the least one should expect is order.FAH1223 wrote:Al-Qaeda = doesn't change that Syrians will have order one way or another.Enlightened~Sista wrote:You idiot, THERE'S f-king AL QAEDA IN SYRIA NOW!!! Don't lose any more brain cells logic and reasoning is nowhere to be found in her head, now you see the after effects of eating hyena meat.

You have the mouth of a sailor and a brain that's the size of a pea, like I said I can visit where I call home today but I could not in the 80's, it's understandable that you would want to live a life of servitude as a second class citizen because you haven't learned to think for yourself, I bet your a pretty girl, the dumb ones usually are.

Waxaan la yaabanahay, exchanging views & intelligent debate is one thing, what is this heated & sometimes personal shit going on around here about this Syrian issue?
What difference does your internet support of the two fighting functions make?
Wallee waxaan maqli jiray 'Adigoo harsan waayey malaguu soo hargalay!'

So what if you can visit Somaliland now? Doesn't change the fact that you're still a f-king refugee in Ohio, U.S.A.Samatr wrote:Fah

I haven't seen war, but I'm fully aware of the extent of its ugliness! NO ONE should call for it or cheerlead for bloodsuckers like AL QAEDA!

it's called e-*e*u*l tension, laawda mercy on her laptop/pc.
E-sis
I'm not a refugee, I'm a citizen I have lived most of my life in the west and I hate terrorists as much as the next the person, I don't see anybody here cheer leading for terrorists, I hate them more than the average person because I always get searched when I have to go on a plane.
I've seen a bit of war although I was a youth I did not understand it at the time and I today I am an adult and I am aware of it's ugliness but I also understand that to live free of tyranny and to rid a dictator it takes bullets and not dialogue.
