Siad Barre was nothing but a crook!!

The fact that people who claim they love there Somalis are praising a man who tried to wipe out fellow Somalis whether they were MJ or Isaaq (who bore the brunt force of this dictator's rage).

And yet you people still want to make out like this man was a hero.

I actually use to be a unionist until I realized long ago those calling for genuine Somali brotherhood still praise the man who ordered the systematic killings of tens of thousands in the North. The fact that people deny it and praise this man showed to me that Somaliland is a million % right in running with their aspirations of breaking off.

He was the master of divide and rule and pitted fellow tribes against one another whether it was Isaaq v Darood or Hawiye v Darood or even MJ v his own clan.

Everything looks better in hindsight, for the people in Mog as soon as Barre was chased away, hell broke loose. For the people of the North as soon as Barre left, normality and good times came to them.
