these johnny come late alternative historians in this thread remind of the sissy french
what if, what if my ass, history was made, god grace was bestowed upon the somali people for 21 years and you received gods god's wrath because you unleashed fitna which you could not control
order to halt foreign interference in the affairs of developing countries it is necessary to study, understand, expose and actively combat neo-colonialism in whatever guise it may appear. For the methods of neo-colonialists are subtle and varied. They operate not only in the economic field, but also in the political, religious, ideological and cultural spheres.

Faced with the militant peoples of th :steviej: e ex-colonial territories in Asia, Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America, imperialism simply switches tactics. Without a qualm it dispenses with its flags, and even with certain of its more hated expatriate officials. This means, so it claims, that it is ‘giving’ independence to its former subjects, to be followed by ‘aid’ for their development. Under cover of such phrases, however, it devises innumerable ways to accomplish objectives formerly achieved by naked colonialism. It is this sum total of these modern attempts to perpetuate colonialism while at the same time talking about ‘freedom’, which has come to be known as neo-colonialism.
Somalia has been without an effective central government since President Siad Barre was overthrown in 1991.
That is the line that is always given about Somalia, it doesn`t say failed state since 1969.
And this theory of self-destructive nature of the kacaan government is an oxymoron.
why would a government that follows the logic of power scum to non-preservation logic such as self-destruction; don`t come here with the course it took policy wise made it that way, nonsense, no children, the government lost to forces that it managed to contain in 1969 and 1991 was the Inevitable straw that broke the camel’s back.

The revolutionary government tempered with nature and turned water into wine but the rebellious peasant people of Somalia once tasted the revolutionary spirit and freedom could not exercise their new enlightenment and resorted to the mob mentality that the neo colonist government of 1960 instilled in them.

The revolutionary government created order out of chaos, while the peasant rebel groups created chaos out of order
Wasn't the same 1960s officials that stood like school girls as manifesto group, watching caydid and company gang rape the Somali state

The 1960 government was like the Confederation of the Rhine and once the masses saw a liberated they united behind the patriotic movement and the outburst and the cheers at revolutionary night is written in gold letter not in blood like other revolutions

Wiil yar oo liberal cheese-eating surrender monkey ah nuguma aqri maayo novice ideas like impartiality and two sides to a story bulshit.
The kacaan was the truth and on 1969 falsehood was destroyed by the will of allah and glory and rain followed and as soon as the kacaan came to a end, we entered the dark ages and we went from light to niggerdom

You can rant rave as much as you want after all you're a product of Booli Qaran. So it's only natural that you would long and lust after "The Good Old Days".Let me tell you something though".A man is known by the company he keeps.Your "Aaabe"belongs to a special club of megalomanic and psychotic 'leaders' that have plagued the African continent for the past forty years. The heartache, misery and suffering caused by these men is truly appalling.Good riddance to bad rubbish

The kacaan was good most of the time except the last few years. one cannot overlook the great attachments of the Kacaan.

lets hope todays government can restore those days and even better ones.

rep, between the two of us, I am closer to the fact. I am in Mogadishu where it took place and the ppl i see are the same people who lived and worked under that military regime. Call them whatever u want but the fact is they are much more reliable than any other source you may bring forth. Anyone who wants to understand what took place 40 yrs ago or wants to write unbiased book ought to come to Somalia. In your mind, is CIA's take on this issue more reliable than the generals and politicians who served the rev?

Was the coup justifiable? I am convinced it was wrong  Sorry to sound like Luis, the Cuban but I dnt see a reason that gave MSB the legitimacy to overthrow the gov.

The regime came to power by the barrel and lost it by the barrel.
