This is how they get people arrested few years later for attempting a blow something. they are a perfect candidate to be honest, travelling to islamic country learning arabic and young pious men which they could say they were extremist. i think they are desperate in UK to cook up a plot bombing story.

I dont condone the British govt for their actions here but i cant say im suprised at this case with Mahdi Hashi. If you're a young Somali from the UK and you take a trip back home, without a doubt you will be considered a security threat, even if you argue that you visited the homeland for family/personal reasons. I know it's sad and unfair but it's playing with fire to do such a thing, cases of Somalis going back to join Alshabaab have been reported before so of course the govt will take all measures and stay cautious.

The problem with UK policy is alot of government funds allocation is set aside for home security and finding internal threats, so even if mahdi hashi is not the mule when he start doing jasuus work for them it will be another somali who would be arrested for planning something and the proof will be mahdi hashi wire taps and few books they found inside his house. But to harras people to spy for them or else seems like they are getting desperate to frame young somali's.
