What makes you think this? I actually do not know his clan but if I were to hazard a guess I would bet he is a member of the Hawiye clan. I felt very inspired by his story and I think of him everything I have said.Areesa wrote:I am guessing the guy is mareexan by how voltage is praising him lool

You guys did not notice something
Why whenever we come on tv that the storyline of our lives almost always has some holes in it and never adds up. For instance this restaurant owner tells the reported he get to England when he was a "boy". If that's the case then why is his English on life-support? War beenta joojiya. Besides that this guy is my effing hero.

Lol, The foreign media who come to Xamaar and try to find unique personal stories in addition to the war coverage. I met Jeffrey Gettleman of the NY Times and we chat and the guy was trying to datamine me and wanted to know my story for being in Xamar. I felt uncomfortable giving him my personal details and simply said I was there to visit needy relatives. Last thing I need is my photo and name being monitored by #HSM (who also monitor FB accounts too).

FAh1223,
You learn how to be vague in the motherland. Its an art. We can have conversations for hours and at the end, know very little about the other.

Is it only me or this guy reminds me the phrase "dead man walking"... Im sure hiiraan.com will have a breaking news on him...i dont wish him harm but this dude aint been smart, he is not looking after his own well being bc he is becoming a media hog and in the process bringing unnecessary attention on himself. Since he is a high profile the rebels are gona use as a great example out of him. Plus he aint been neutral, niggga b feeding the elders of the gov and even inviting the Mayor of Mogadishu, so I do understand why he is a target. He aint playing his cards right.

Why the hell is Al shabab targetting this poor man, if I were him I wouldn't host TFG friendly elders or Tarzan. Al shabab was wrong to attack his restaurant and threaten the journalists.
