As for the mawlid, Ibn Taymiyya, Ibn Kathir, Imam Dhahabi, 3 Imams greatly respected by the Najdis praised the ruler Al-Mudhaffar who introduced the mawlid, and they praised him and said " May Allah have mercy on him, he celebrated the mawlid with a huge celebration", Ibn Taymiyya even said " It (the mawlid) is good, and it has great rewards in it", however what will the najdis say about these? they simply slide it under the table, and so even the highest students of a najdi sheikh wouldn't know of this, the irony they declare anyone who celebrates the mawlid shirk and idol worship.
