The last actual Government collapsed in '91. Somalia has been Stateless for 21 years and counting. Abdiqassim, Sharif, Abdullahi Yusuf, Xassan Sh none of these Guys were/are Presidents.

State sponsored rebel groups are a fact. The President of the DRC spoke to Uganda and Rwanda about the M23 rebels taking over Goma. Voila, the M23 rebels retreated from that city after being ordered to do so. Ras Kibaki are a Kenyan militia with many recruits from Garissa province in Kenya. They were trained in Kenya. They followed the Kenyan army into Somalia. So at the end of the day, they are only in Kismayo because of Kenya.

Hassan Sheik put out positive overtures to RK and all armed groups in Kismayo. It was RK that rejected his hand of friendship hence the need to got Kibaki who funds and controls the RK. HAssan Sheik should have from day #1 talked to Kibaki instead of Madoobe.

Ras Kamboni is still in Kismayo and not going anywhere so how are they comparable to M23? Surely victory should be announced only if RKK leaves the city?

Be patient. Ras Kibaki will be resettled in Dadaab and the Somali nationals there will be moved back to Somalia.

Madoobe is a foreigner. Ras Kibaki fighters hail from Garissa. We all know what happened when the so called Ras Kibaki and Azania invaded and were badly beaten just 90 kms from the border and had to be rescued by their Kenyan paymasters.

If the Kenyans leave tomorrow, Ras Kibaki will set a world record in retreats or even switch to AS.
