I love DD but there is no way on earth he's better than Eto'o. Eto'o has won every single competition worth winning in football including the AFCON(twice) He also has the most goals in AFCON history.

I thought this thread said African Footballers? I don't want to see midget Argentina players mentioned here.

The reason why big man Drogba is the best Africa has produced is not because he has better skills than some of the other African greats though he could match them. Or he is a better striker but he is the best in terms of what he did for African football globally. He, not E'to carried Africa on his back when the world cup was held in Africa even in defeat. He represented and still does represent Africa on the world stage. He exposed the pride, strength, passion and brilliance of African football. He is the aspiration of generations of young Africans, yes E'to has more trophies and played for great world class sides but amongst African youth its Drogba who is looked up to and not E'to.

That makes him the best Africa has.

Did you watch the 2006 ACNs? when Cameroon faced Ivory Coast in the Quarter finals, Drogba carried his team on his back, whereas Eto' was the reason his team lost. D was the better player.

Drogba hands down, nicca gets it done. Clinical finisher, great defender. inspirational leader, and a complete world class player. You can't get better than that.
