am sure they wanted to employ the locals but couldn't find suitable candidates that acquire the skills required for those construction/civil jobs currently under going in somalia, so ofcourse workers will have to be imported for the job.. The thing is these workers that are coming to somalia should be required to undergo mandotary health assessment to rule out the risk of exposing hiv, hepatitis, meningicocal, etc infected individuals to the general public. Am all for hiring somalis first, then africans, and lastly other foreigners if the demand cant be met.

totally agree
also import teachers who can train our own workers instead of relying on foreigners to take decent jobs from Somalis.
