and bacdeyda is till inside. lol. my husband grew up in a house where mommy dearest served red meat every day.. and even as adult on his own used to consume quite a bit... so as u can imagine someone like that would protest a great deal to such drastic overhaul .. but he is sensible man and understands the pernicious effect of maintaining such diet, so he agreed...and of course my aim is not to cut him off cold turkey... so again like u said.. eat in moderation.

i've never really used tofu as cheese substitute.. but it can be a great chicken replacement, specially in Pad Thai. you'll need extra firm tofu.. its really yummy

My mums always making baasto with mince meat, i personally eat it from time to time, nowadays i'm hooked to tuna and salmon.

I really like beans but the only beans i've eaten in my life was baked beans and fuul medamas.

From experience, eggplant and artichoke are nice and easy substitutes. There's also mushroom.

Only had tofu a couple times. Doesn't leave much of an impression, but I'm not big on soy. Dudes should keep away from it.
