The only sins that take you out of the deen are those of belief, not action. This is like, basic stuff. Zinna is worse than sodomy.

If this "imaam" truly believes being a homosexual and acting on those urges is perfectly fine in the context of Islam, and marries two men or women together, then the question of him being Muslim comes up. The same can be said about those other "shaykhs" I've listed, which are plenty, as we all know.
