Had this been in the 90s, I would have probably joined your fetish crusade however this is 2014 yes 2014.. meaning I wanna go home and plant mango trees and not worry about rat race life in the west...we need a transparent plan..one tht includes genuine approach to our problems.

HASSAN sheikh wasted a great opportunity by scolding jubaland and puntland for tribal reasons..had he not done tht and welcomed jubbaland while focused on hawiye lands to establish federal states..alshabaab would have been gone now and we would have been soo much stronger. ..but noo the man is busy creating an unproductive legacy for himself and his tribe..

But sool and sanaag are not the jubba regions ,they are not in dispute these are isaaq territories with small daarood subclans living there who wish to remain part of Somaliland. Darod is our neighbour and neighbour means economic benefits, stability interest, cooperation, etc.

Removing the capital from Mogadishu to somewhere strategic to Isaaq and Darood is the best way to heal Somalia. Hawiye wuxu inagu bootenaya the Italian and Siad Bare built town. Without Italians it would still be another Baraxleey with beach access.

As long as Isaaq is in SL and Darod is venting his hate on Isaaq----Hawiye will retain both the capital seat and Presidential post for the next 1000 years.

We can't allow Hawiye to hold the Somali race hostage by denying SL region, PL, etc, development aid, international engagement including investment and shunning the likes of Jubbaland.

The Hawiye has no plans for Somalis other then fatten their pockets, get plenty of cambuulo baqaaro and sale, sale and sale the rest of the country like Meles did to Ethiopia.

Every soon Hawiye will auction the fertile land in Shabelle and Jubboyinka to Arab billionaires. The highest bidder will take it. I foresee it. Hawiye only speaks beeso and dragging language.

Darod is far better for Isaaq and Isaaq is far better for Darod. Just compare Las Anod and south Galkacayo without letting emotions cloud your judgement. Imagine Las Anod was under Hawiye instead of Isaaq...daily raping, dragging, etc.. you can imagine...but Isaaq forces are not even near Las Annod they handed over to local indigenous forces.

Now that al shabab is defeated its pretty peaceful but I can't say the same about Galkacayo...Baraxleey can fire missiles like Hamas at any time.

Its time Isaaq and Darods became realistic and swallowed their own pride and boasting that is taking them no where.

isaaqs and darood are the most politically active people in somalia. meanwhile i think what prolongs fighting and suffering in Mogadishu is the UN aid and money. That's their weakness. Mooryantas logic is i want to control this area and the un must pay if they want access. Do you think isaaqs or daroods would have managed better had they had the capital? Also the issue of alshabab for example. What i dont understand is why are they not in puntland or somaliland. Why only south Somalia? could it be the isaaqs and daroods fought them bravely and the hawiye and rahanweyn are to currupt to fight them. Thats what it looks to me. I think we need a process of choosing a new temporary capital like hawdian brother said whilst building brand new one thats green and breezy. we shouldn't wait for one tribe and for another 20 years because they not happy with what's being done!!!!
