Habar Awal made their wealth through looting Berbera port revenues. They can thank the former government of somalia for enabling that port to be built by the Russians and Americans. However Garhajis wealth is self made from richest woman in Uganda to Omar aided. The other day my father was telling me how the multi million farms in the south neighboring our farm is mostly owned by habaryonis. When you compare that with the sacad muse , the sac muse will come across as piss poor.

There was this guy named balad, WHO lived in berbera, so one day he took with him alot of people from that region to the South, and they never return to berbera. and its also believed that balad, was heavenly guided to make hiijra to the South.
The people he took with him was different tribes from irir samaale, like Hawiye, meyle, ajuuraan iyo karanle. So they travelled South, and never returned..
those tribes later on made the biggeste history of Africa oo dhan.. hands Down.
All of them came from the city of berbera. so they called themselves the berberawe or barberish race. because there was different races in the South in that time like, Yibir, madibhan and eyloo etc etc.
The great Moroccan historian ibn battuta was in Mogadishu 1331, its like almost 700 years ago and he have record the city and its leaders in good detail.. this is a must read. only 4 pages..
