khair Allah ko seeyo, i tell you trick that help with salatul lail, if you are beginner cause later you will be habit for you.

put your alarm, 2,3 or 4 o'clock, when ever you want to pray salatul lail. put your phone alarm and put your phone far that you need to get out your bed and walk few steps to shut off.lol. once you reach, shaitanka iska naar and you wont go back to bed but go wash and pray. :)

mistake people do is, they put alarm where they can reach to shut off and sleep again.

^ I'm happy/grateful for a lot, but what I'm trying to figure out is if anyone has something, be it painting, writing, snow boarding---basically a hobby that makes them happy.

It becomes even more elusive as one ages. Simplest of things while growing up used to bring such joy, but the world is still full of happiness and joy, you just have to find what works for you.

Investing in experiences, building long-lasting relationships, communal work, giving back, traveling, hitting 180 SPM on the Arc trainer at an incline of 15 for 45 mins first thing on Saturday mornings, lifting, enjoying some alone time with a good movie or book, making a difference, memories of a happy childhood, contributing to a cause, doing some good, remembering our creator and appreciating all his creation. Pottery. I own a pottery wheel that I bought at a garage sale, it's in my basement and I usually spend hours just playing around with it. Hobby Lobby sells all the accessories and it's a great way to reduce stress in your life. Swimming, running, coming home after a brutal day, sleeping in and not doing anything on Sundays, etc.
