Al-Shabab a rival Islamist function in Somalia has ousted Hizbul-Islam another rival Islamist function from Baladweyn town a very strategic town in central Somalia which is also the headqurters of Hirn region in central Somalia.




The commander officer of Al-Shabab in Hiran region has given out details regarding about the ousting Hizbul-Islam out Baladweyn town.

“Before the ousting of Hizbul-Islam from the town of Baladweyn the Al-Shabab officers have come together and we have unanimously agreed that we are worth to take control of the town, and its only God and us who knows best why we have done this and we are urging the population in Hiran region to collaborate with Al-Shabab” said Sheikh Yussuf Ali Ugas the commander of Al-Shabab in Hiran region.

The two Islamist functions have been each previously controlling east and west of the town of Baladweyn, but eventually the strong Islamist function of Al-Shabab which America calls Al-Qaida proxy in Somalia could no longer tolerate Hizbul-Islam to share the governing of Baladweyn town together, and Al-Shabab has eventually ousted the fighter of Hizbul-Islam out of the town and there are no expectations that Hizbul-Islam will reinforce themselves to oust Al-Shabab from Baladweyn town.

Al-Shabab is gradually taken the control of the entire of Hiran region in central Somalia it was merely in the course of the previous week when the enbtier figters of Hizbul-Islam at Jalalaqsi district in Hiran region have changed their minds and converted themselves as Al-Shabab warriors instead of Hizbul-Islam.

a more realistic way of describing the demographics of hiiraan is that hawaadle is obviously majority,i have included all the clans for example,fiqi omar being a small clan occupy a small territory in hiiraan while baacidacadde share land with mudulood and occosionally clash with mudulood on land disputes,habargidir is marginal clan small ayr subclan live on the edges of hiiraan especially in matabaan and forget to include ujejen because they are politically,socially related to hawaadle.

Many make it seem like HSM only gets support from certain subclans when we know its is the opposite and that every major clans sublans have a pro and anti HSM supporters the only difference is some more than others.
