ximan is real nigga. What he is saying is actaully true in real life. Take for example donald sterling, he hates blacks but employs black to play for his team and deals with a black girl but he didnt put a ring a on it. Why because it's in his to have black ball players, why because there is lots of money at stake. Business and pleasure dont mix. We cant have a president who is none tribalist. We cant have a somalia thats not hugely dependent on satisfied tribes living side by side. So we need real niggas that will play tribal politics and sit down with tribal elders whom they despise and reach a satisfactory deal with and shake hands. Take the EU for example they all "united" but then every time they are picking a leader you can see who is allied with who.

For example, I would hire many Isaaq with the same ideology as me just to undermine Somaliland. Even though I despise beesha Eydoor. I would hire more Isaaq's than any other clan. I would even give them top positions etc. It is all about ideological interest and national interest.

Again I completely agree. You wonder why they say politics is xaran. The above is your answer. We not really being honest and we dont really have the other qabils interest at heart. You cant be nice and keep everyone happy with democracy. But to have our way and our interest we must half satisfy theirs. We have to trick, lie, scam,exploit, deceive and manipulate to the best of our ability. But this must be packaged as helpful and friendly and in "their" interest which will eventually strengthen our bond which in turn is good for our unity. After all this is democracy and not sharia.

I actually been here in and out since middle of 2011.

Firstly who the fuck told you the government gets millions of pounds?! Do you know all these pledges are merely just pledges. They hardly get any money from the international community and even if they do it will be a long process and little money or just UN projects. Every time you hear this country donated this amount of money, you should not belief it. It is just a pledge!! They never come into the country these amount of money. The government lives on the sea and airport taxes!!

Xamar is not lawless they have police, traffic wardens, universities, schools. Don't take the media serious they blow things that in a radical manner. Yes their might be some insecurity but that is understandable since Xamar is the capital and seat of the government and a threat to Al-Shabaab or any anti-government or anti-governance people such as businessmen that do not want to see a functioning government because they enjoy the libertarian like society i.e. no tax

I don't know what Farmaajo would do if he was elected, but I do have trust in him from his experiences and way of thinking through his actions, i.e. taking some portions of workers salaries to feed the IDP's etc.

Totally, politics is dirty and unfortunately Somalis are not politically savy. They are still in their primitive mindset and are inclined to the ancient society of tribalism. Not only Somalis but Africa as a whole has not gone past this primitive lay out of a society. Hence why they all care about his their tribe and not the rest of the population whom they share a land, country and a state with.

Horta ease on the Mogadishu hating. It is your capital city. If I was a rebel or a military movement my price and significant treasure to capture would be the capital since it is the seat of the country, hence it inevitable for Mogadishu to face such pressure. Also don't forget it is the role of ALL Somalis to restore the normalcy of Mogadishu since the capital caters for all of the people of Somalia. So therefore side-lining or ignoring Mogadishu by the rest of the population is just stupid.
