Re: Disrespectful Men
Anyone can attack your character online without personally knowing you or simply troll for a reaction. You should care about whether you're respected in your day-to-day life by your family, friends, colleagues and regular people you come into contact with. Also, you can definitely gauge whether a man holds disturbing misogynist views by asking the right questions.
All in all: it ain't that srs.

This thread should be deleted and soph iyo basra should be banned immediately. Gabdhahan in ay nagu af bartaan ma ahen. If you feel ragee in snet are disrespectful you send them a pm and politely and explain that whilst you are not attacking them you would like to point out a few issues or a comment they've have made. What you dont do is run off and make a thread.
I ask the owner of snet to program this site so that when someone is signing up, the second they tick "female" button they will only be able to comment on threads in the woman section and "post what your eating thread". Men who have more 2500 comments can ban any unruly naag running her mouth at anytime without having to explain himseld. If she wants to comeback a female friend of hers must create a thread with a poll in which at least 35 men must tick yes for her return, by the way females can vote in this. Still though the guy who banned her in the first place must eventually agree to her return so in theory you could have 40 men who agrees for her comeback laakin that guy will have the last say.
I also ask that any relationship thread created by a female in the women section can be deleted by any male member with more than 150 comments.
In fact we should have a qouta. Only 6 females can have the priviledge to comment anytime in their designated areas. After a month these will have their privilege taken back from and another 6 will be assigned these privileges. This way we wont have boring naago time wasting. Plus after 6month they have to re-register and again her comeback must be put to a vote, again no naag can vote in this.
Oh we should be lenient and grant more privileges to girls who agree with polygamy.
'Keep em needy'

Re: Disrespectful Men
Women are not equal to men, in terms of creation, Allah does judge fairly between sins and reward but they are created different in this dunya to fullfil certain roles just like men do. Why do you think there are no female Prophet's or female tribal leaders? We have to get rid of this western notion that women are deprived of their rights in Islam. One of the last sermons by the Prophet (saw) was to be good to women he repeated it several times. So in noway does this diminish their rank or honour. But they are not equal in terms of biology either, if you study anthropology you'd know that God created men to spread their seed and women to keep one partner that is their pure nature or (fitra).

Vexation of the spirit is a waste of time my friend, I like your new profile picture.sophisticate wrote:
These men are absolutely detestable. I never got why some men on here have the gall to insult or objectify women. Then I remembered trying to appeal to their sense of morality is not the approach to take. They probably see nothing wrong with what they are doing. From their lens it’s the status quo – “all females are hoes waiting to be exposed” or “merely bitches for failing to cooperate” especially when they “fall out of line and start mouthing off.” You know what they say if he doesn't respect the females in his life there’s no way he'll respect you. Let’s just say he does respect the ladies in his life, but holds deeply misogynistic attitudes, then lady don't expect him to refrain from spewing pure vitriol.
Your thoughts on the subject?

Grapa you are being disrespectful.
however i do agree that both genders are equal but are created to perform different roles in dunya. breadwinner/homemaker - leader/sustainer - both roles equal in honour

Re: Disrespectful Men
What has this thread elucidated?
This is merely a small overview:
- The tendency for some members to universalize when you explicitly use the term some.
- The blatant disregard for social decorum and use of tactless and incendiary remarks by a few.
In which case don't bother replying to my threads if you can't be gung ho and civilized without resorting to baseless ad hominems.
- That some members don't really care for the misogyny they see on here since it doesn't impact their lives offline.
- There are some members that find this deeply concerning and are utterly appalled at this maladaptive behaviour.
- Some have interjected their thoughts about female and male roles in Islam.
- Some seem to be under the impression that this topic is "sensationalized."
I would like to go a step further virgin or not, sinner or saint or any of these dichotomies. At the end of the day women bashing might not be explicit like it is online but is certainly systemic and embedded in institutions. It can also have an implication on one's psychosocial well-being and can contribute to stress, depending on its frequency.
Last time I checked a prick doesn't care if you are good or bad.
Now my real response:

hunterKING this was reminiscent of that time you got a warning, that's how we first met under your other name.
Mary Hopkins sang it best "Those were the days".
Jeff0 let that be a lesson to you. The longer you continue the easier it is to build a case against you.

I wish you females on here could be reincarnated as arab or south asian women. Then you'd know what real oppression and sexism looks like. Somali men are weaklings.
