10 billion dollars worth of cuts is miniscule compared to the size of the British economy. It doesn't even amount to 1% of the British federal budget.

At least it's better than allowing the Government to incur excessive amounts of debt and saddling future generations with this debt. In fact, the Labour Politicians are extremely selfish because they spend billions of dollars on frivolous projects, increasing the debt and further impoverishing the average UK citizen.

And the funny thing is that the UK Government under the Conservatives didn't even really cut spending. They just slowed the rate of increase, imposing fiscal discipline in the country.

You need to realize that money doesn't grow on trees. "Taxing the rich" only results in less investment. Look at what happened in France when they tried to tax the rich. It was an utter disaster that almost imploded France's economy.

The ONLY way to increase wages and also increase government tax receipts is to increase labor productivity. There are no shortcuts to this.

Nothing is free. Don't be a simpleton.
