When the general stereotypes (pleasant or bad) of a group are established in a society, contradictory newsworthy "individuals errors/achievements" are just that, "individual errors/achievements".

Believe it or not, most North Americans didn't know Somalis lived in North America until the pirates of 2009, Al-Bantu Shish Kabob and it's resulting madness, and the recent ISIL recruit runaways etc.

Aside from Anglo-Saxons, all immigrants groups (including Ashkenazi Jews) have all had to crave out their own assimilated stereotypes. It takes lots of time and responsible effort.

In North America, there is a huge Negroization agenda going down on Somalis that the UK Somalis have successfully resisted.
The Economist, the Guardian, The DailyMail (especially) etc. are on an all out hunt for UK Somalis. Rageedi.

Not to worry, it's happened to many before. Jews used to be gangsters and basketball players in America. As long the next generation doesn't have a bunch of half breed Shukri Shaniquas and Abdi Dome piece like Jerome's niece running around, progress can be made.

The Negroization of Somalis in North America is going on in full-force. It's already quite common to see Somali boys with braided hair and saggy pants. SMH

Go to any courtroom in Toronto and you will see a dozen Somali boys on trial for various different crimes. Somali boys are dropping out of school like flies.

Just today I was out with a non Somali friend and there was this group of loud ass Somali girls all you could here is "say wallahi" and snippets of conversations about so and so and guys. They were so loud and irritating, my friend turned around to me and said "speak to your people". I just had to be like ermmm awks. Anywho why are Somali girls so loud? They're always trying to be intimidating as well but they just come across as loud and embarrassing. Times like these I wish I wasn't Somali, so I don't have to be associated with them.
